Calling all artists – here’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work online. We are currently
looking for talented designers, photographers, printers and illustrators to feature in our card categories – that
means it could be you!
As a featured artist on Greetings by Photobox, you get your work seen and you can make money each time a customer
creates a personalised card using your designs.
How you earn money
From the moment your cards are on the site you could start earning money.

The percentage royalty you earn will be based on the card volumes you have reached to
date, multiplied against the net value of the card*. Royalties will be paid on a quarterly basis based on issued
sales reports. Payment requests will need to be received within a month of the end of the quarter and
payment will be made within a month of receipt of invoice e.g. Requests for July-Sept need to be made by end
of Oct and will be paid by end of Nov.
Example
1 cards sold to date = 10% royalty.
Net value of standard card = £2.54, royalty = 25p
*net card value is card retail price excluding VAT, postage and packaging and discount
Submitting your design
It’s easy to submit a design, just use one of our landscape or portrait templates for all card sizes.
Download the landscape and/or portrait template for the programme
you wish to work in and create your artwork. Please use the red lines as your template guide NOT the edge of the template file.
(You need to create both a
JPEG and PNG file of your final design both at 300dpi and sRGB)
Simply follow this link to the Artist and Artwork submission form to agree to our
Terms and Conditions
and enter all relevant information for the site.
Submit your Artist & artwork submission form, and send
your finished artwork via the link in step 3 below.
Your designs will then be reviewed and considered for the site. We aim to acknowledge your submission within one
week and upload artwork to the website for sale within two weeks.
Please note that this process is in its first phase. For phase two, scheduled for the Autumn, we aim to
offer ‘Online submission’, enabling you to control all aspects of your card design in one single
location, plus check your sales on your own designer administration page.
1. Choose your template
The zipped files below contain all the information you’ll need to ensure that your designs are perfect for becoming
a featured artist on Greetings by Photobox.
If you are having trouble opening the zip files on a mac then you will need Stuffit.
For PC users Winrar will do the trick.
2. Artist and Artwork submission form
Simply follow this link Artist and Artwork submission form where you will be sent to our online submission form.
Simply click on the image below to read and agree to our
Terms and Conditions and
enter all relevant information for the site.
3. Submit your artwork
Please ensure that the filename for artwork is clearly labelled as
designername-cardname.file extension
Examples:
AliceMay-BirthdayCake.jpeg and AliceMay-BirthdayCake.png
Both the JPEG and the PNG must be at 300dpi.
